I obtained the PhD from School of Computer Science and Information System at the University of Melbourne, under the supervision of Prof. Rui Zhang and Dr. Jianzhong Qi. Before that, I graduated from Northeastern University (NEU) with the B.Eng degree from College of Software, then obtained the M.Eng degree from the National University of Defence Technology (NUDT), under the supervision of Prof. Xicheng Lu and Prof. Dongsheng Li.

My main research interests include bioinformatics, spatial data analysis, and machine learning. Specifically, I am currently doing research in bioinformatics (infectious disease transmission prediction, small molecule drug discovery, and vaccine design) with spatial data mining and deep learning approaches.
